Our history

HPE Italy (High Performance Engineering) is a naval engineering company with advanced expertise in the design and development of planing, semi-displacement, and full displacement hulls. We operate on a project basis with a multidisciplinary approach, delivering turnkey engineering solutions and technical-structural refitting services.

Advanced research and testing

With our in-house R&I laboratory, we conduct experimental testing both in towing tanks and at sea—including roll motion up to 6 degrees of freedom (6DOF)—as well as CFD simulations and fluid–structure interaction (FSI) analyses. We also perform FEM calculations on composite structures and support lamination plan development.
